Hey Friends and Family
Wow it is getting hard for me to type and remember word in English and how to spell them. haha I never thought I would say this but I think im kinda forgetting my english haha. ITs rough cause I dont know everything in Tagalog and im forgetting english so how am i going to type later on in my mission haha. This last week has been really exciting for me and my companion. We had a baptism in our area and the last one in the area was in March. We have 2 coming up on Sept 11. Sis Joan and Sis Suzette. If you didn't notice most of the baptisms are girls. I thinks that's cause there mostly the ones who are open with their religion. We met Sis Joanne's tatay last week and he wasn't to nice about us coming to teach his step daughter. She is 20 yrs old and so has has the ability the make the decision for herself and she decided to continue to let us teach her. We don't go to her house anymore. Her mother is really nice (Nanay Mercy) and she is totally fine with us teaching her daughter. She helps us avoid tatay haha that sounds bad but.... The lord will overrule for the glory of this work. Yesterday we contacted a referral we received and we found out that it is a part member family. They said to us last night that they want to be baptized. There are 5 of them so later tonight we will give them a baptism date. That was a huge blessing for us. Last Sunday we went to Cavite another area about an hour away and we weren't sure how to get to the area so we were asking people and the said a bus comes around and one lady said that bus right there. I looked over and a huge hipee van that had peace signs all over it and other things. It was lifted up and I was like sweet haha so we got on and sure enough it was definitely a hippee van or bus haha The driver was playing old music and i felt like I was in the the old days haha. I dont know if i have said this yet but in the city of muntinlupa (my area) there is a prison. A minimum, medium, and maximum security prison. The minimum security prisoners can leave the prison and go to town and shop or what ever. The medium security I have only been there once but I pass the maximum security usually everyday. There are security officers on the 12 ft wall with machine guns haha pretty sweet huh. Also there is a thethal injection facility and we took a tour a couple weeks ago and its real creepy inside. anyways i thought that was cool and thought I would share that. Anyways until next week. Inget po at mahal ko kayo.
