Good Afternoon Family and Friends
Well I was transferred again haha. So my 1st area was in Las Piñas than my 2nd in Parañaque, now im in San Gabriel Zone. Its part of the Cavite Province. The last two areas are full out city live. My new area is still kinda city but its fresh air and coconut trees like crazy. Im pretty excited!!!!!!! My companin and I are shotgunning the area so we have no "guide". Just a Area Book and Area Boundary's now the rest is up to us!!!!:) My companion is a Filipino again but he likes to speak english to me and the rest of us ferigners in the Apartment. The Apartment is really nice and pretty open. We all sleep ion the same room and no door to the house just a garage type deal and of course a gate to keep the neighbors out haha. This is my 6th transfer and my 5th companion. It was kinda hard to say by to all the investigators in Bicutan. Especially my recent convert Sis Elisa. We call her Ate cause she is pretty much our older sister. My old companion Elder Nye and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that those people that we have taught and baptized...There is a different kind of relationship between us....Eternal Friendship. We'll be talking about these things on the other side. Something Sis Elisa said to us in her testimony was "Elders thank you for saving my soul from death." Her testimony is so strong!!!!! She told everyone that she didn't convert because of the members or the Elders but because the Holy Ghost told her that it was true!!!!! Gospel Convert!!!!:) She's already looking forward to entering the temple in a year and maybe serving a mission!!! I cant wait till she enters and i'll be able to attend watch her go through. When I was telling her I was transfering she started to cry. Well today start a new 6 weeks! Im really looking forward to seeing what I can do with this area. President Howard told every missionary today in transfer meeting to tell him in our letter to him.....why the Lord called us to serve in this mission and for me I want to share that. I know that the Lord called me to serve in the Philippines Manila Mission because he knows that there are people here that need to hear the message of The Restored Gospel from me. I know with out a doubt that he calls everyone to the selected missions cause there is atleast 1 person there or maybe 100 that need to hear The Restored Gospel from us, from you! It doesn't matter how many there are but that we find those that are waiting for us. In 3 months is my 1 year mark and I cant believe that it has gone so fast already. So all those that are on mission's or going on mission's that read this...GET OUT THERE AND WORK!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you all. Take care.

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!
Well this week has been good like always! We will have a baptism here on Christmas. Thats going to be awesome! What a great day to remember our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and be baptized. She's REALLY excited!!!!!!!!! We had the interview yesterday afternoon. We went to church and left early to get our district leader. When we were going back to the church and we wanted a faster route cause the Chapel is in a weird spot. We climbed a wall to make it faster. This spot that we take we have taken a few times. So I know the area. We climb up this ladder and climb down the other side but this time we were in a hurry and we made the mistake of jumping off the other side. I made it ok and 2 more made it ok but my companion jumped and landed bad on his ankle wrong. It swelled up really good and he couldn't walk on it so he was hopping around with me by his side as his support haha. We had a Musical Fireside last night and it went really well. All the missionaries sang Christmas song and we had Elders and Sisters sing solos. It went really good and I wish you guys could have experienced. We went to the hospital today to see if it was broken. We didn't think it was broken but President told us to get it checked out. The X-ray came back good not broken. We have been really slow lately. He's been having a hard time get around on crutches. This last week we shared a message at our wards Christmas Party. We think it went pretty good just if everyone would have listened. We walked Joy to the World and that was good. We than left that early to go and teach Sister Elisa. Later tonight we will have a district party at the house with food hahaha:) I hope this Christmas is great for everyone and we can fell the real spirit of Christmas. Our Father in Heaven gave us the gift of his Only Begotten Son and Christ gave his live that all you believe on his name shall receive everlasting live. What are we going to give back???? I know that serving him with all of our heart, might, mind and strength and live as faithful members, always following the commandments of god is the best thing we can give back. Dont forget this Holiday season to remember what its all about. We need to listen to the Prophet to know what we need to do. Listening to our living Prophet gives me chills cause I teach everyday that we have a living Prophet in our time. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Thomas S. Monson is our living Prophet and Joseph Smith restored the Gospel. I know the Book of Mormon is the WORD of God. I know all of us can strength our faith and always find better ways to show it. Serving as a missionary at this time in my life is the BIGGEST blessing!!!!!!!!! I dont know where I would be right now if I wasn't serving the Lord. I know that everyone that has a missionary out in the "scary" world has a purpose where he is she is at. The Lord is watching over us all!!! "This is a season to be strong" Love you all. Until next week. MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seasons Greetings to everyone.
This week was really good. We taught a total of 31 lessons this week and gave 6 Baptismal dates and had 7 at church without picking anyone up. Usually we would drop by them and walk with them but we had to get up early and we want to see if they would go to church by themselves and they did. We will have a Baptism on Dec 25 and im stoked for that one. Sister Elisa is really strong and asked what are the steps to becoming a missionary hahaha I told her well you need to be a member first. Before she didn't really care about us coming by but now she's way excited. She reads everything we give her like right after we leave. and she has been just reading the Liahona and Gospel principles book like everyday. She's in 2 Nephi in her personal reading. Mapanao Fam are doing good also. They accepted our invitation to be baptized and brother had some ?'s. What do I do if I move before I get baptized? He is trying to get a job and he is waiting for his Visa to go to another Country to work. He said that at the end of this month the power will be shut off. There really nice and they have strong faith. Anyways I have been reading in D&C and I really enjoy that so much. I love how much it refers to Missionary Work and the importance of that. My companion and I are preparing a lesson that we will be sharing to the ward and hopefully to some investigators about the birth and sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We want to help people this season to feel the really spirit of Christmas. Remembering the greatest gift that was giving to us. Helping people relies that Christmas that its not about fancy gift but helping others and sharing our blessings with others. I know that if we remember the Savior this season that we will be able to feel the Love that he has for us. What we plan on doing with our investigators is reading The Birth of Jesus Christ and making a little gift that that will help them remember Him. Something that I want to do also is wrap the BOM's we give out with ribbon. Well I pray that this season is Joyful and brings the spirit into your homes. Mahal ko kayo!!!

12-8-2010 (Seriously late.... really sorry!!)
Maayong hapon sa inyong tanan (Cebuano)
Magandang hapon sa inyong lahat (Tagalog)
Wow im so greatful to be serving in the Philippines Manila Mission. My Heavenly Father knew where exactly to put me even thou sometimes is hard. I want to testify that he knows all of us so well and he knows what will help us become the person, son or daughter of God we need to become. Something I learned from teach our investigators this last week. That the Atonement of Jesus Christ is not only for our sins but EVERYTHING that we go through. Pains, heartbreaks EVERYTHING. Christ suffered everything for us!!!!!!..........Alma 7:10-12. This week was different for me in a way. I was in bed one night and he comes in from talking with the Zone Leaders and he said to me "Elder we need to go out right now. Do you know anyone who has a landline? I need to call home tonight!" He got a call from President saying that his grandmother will pass away soon. I learned alot about myself and what I need to do to become the Missionary here. I learned what true love is for our investigators. This last week we went to alot of our investigators to pick them up to go to church. Some couldn't make it cause they were sleeping and one cause she has 2 kids and no one to help her to get to church. She does everything around the house. Literally cooks and takes care of 2 kids at the same time. Sister Elisa is doing way good now. She has been to church 2 times now and she wants to continue her baptism on Dec 25. How cool huh? We have been blessed with a family who really shows there faith and attended church and went to the Temple with us on our Tempe Tour. Which was really cool. I went to the temple this morning and I was sitting inside and I opened to D&C and I opened directly to a scripture about the Temple and Sealing kids to the parents. After the session in the Temple I walked out and I was asked to sit in on a Sealing. I thought that was really cool. Anyways thats about all for this week. Mahal ko kayo!
