Magandang hapon sa inyo lahat ulit
This has been a pretty good week. I think ever week so far has been pretty good. I cant think of a bad one haha. I went to my baptisms back in my last area (Muntinlupa 2). Saw the rest of the Sia Family get baptized and Sister Juleen Jaunico. Sister Juleen is the sister of Joanne who I baptized when I was there. The whole Sia family is now members and I hope in 1 year I will be able to see them get sealed in the Temple for eternity. I miss my last area and that was a treat to go back and see everyone again. When you make good friendships you dont want to be transferred but i knew that it would help me even though its hard. This area right now here in Bicutan is a good area to. It needs some help but with the Lord we can do anything. Something that happened to me last week was really cool. It was Saturday night and we needed some OYM's to meet our goal. So we were talking to everyone on Jeepney's and tricycles. I ran out of pamphlets and all i had left was a Book of Mormon. I told my companion Elder Kaka that im going for a big one haha. I was sitting on a tricycle waiting for it to fill up. I was gonna wait for someone who I really think would read it and not just put it aside. A sister walked past and she got in. The first thing I said was Magandang Gabi sister. Taga saan kayo? Where are you from? She said she was from a place near Cebu. So I know that she has to know Visaya. Im hoping she does anyways. So I say some stuff in Visaya and she said oh you know Visaya. Of course I dont know very much but just being able to relate to her and start a conversation she opened up and asked me who I was and I was like YES!!! Well we got talking and I shared some beliefs with her and when we stopped the tricycle. I had the feeling she was the one to receive the BOM. I pulled it out and and said here. Basahin nyo siya... Its like please read it. She kinda hesitated and than she took it and smiled and said thanks. I was a little upset I didn't have time to get information from her or tell her about it. But I had a great feeling after the tricycle drove off into the night. Anyways Brother Renyal was baptized and confirmed Saturday and Sunday. The work it great. I really enjoy it even when disappointing times come our way. I also went to the temple today and that is always amazing. Feeling the amazing spirit there. What a blessing it is to be assigned in a area near the temple. Until next week take care everyone and SMILE:) 2 Nephi 9:39...........Mahal ko kayo!!

Magandang araw sa inyo lahat Friends at tsaka Family
This week has been real different than the others haha. Why? A new area ha sempre....This coming saturday in going back to my old area in Muntinlupa to attend a baptism of 5 of my last investigators. The problem I ran in to when I was planning this was there is a baptism here in my new area but I have only been here 2 weeks so I asked President Howard if i could return to my area and attend that and he said "yes but hurry back to your area". We have to go on splits for me to go cause my companion is baptizing in this area. Im going with a ward missionary back to my area. Im way excited cause i miss them so much haha I never thought I would feel or say that haha. The life and people grow on you. I told my companion today that im scared to go back to America cause everyone is so nice here. The way everyone talks here is so different haha in America I think it would be alittle wierd and personal to talk the way we talk here Basta lang. And plus my companion said that when i speak English he doesn't understand me hahaha he said maybe your leaving out words or something. Sayang hahaha........My speaking and understanding has increased alot Tagalog wise haha. Anyways we had a really cool experience last week and yesterday. Elder Cook of the 12 apostles came to the philipinas and visited the Manila Mission missionaries. He shared a really good message as long as a member of the 70...Elder Edwards. Yesterday he came to Paranaque Stake and spoke to everyone and I am in the Paranaque Stake haha. I shook his hand twice. And I told everyone that I wasn't going to wash my hand but here you have to haha. Here is a quote we received from our AP's......"You were in the war in Heaven and one day when you are in the Spirit World you will fascinated with those who you will associate with. You will ask someone what time period they lived in and you might hear, "I was with Moses when he parted the Red Sea", or "I fought with Captain Moroni against the Lamanites." As you stand there in amazement, someone will turn to you and ask, "Which prophet's time did you live?" And you will say, "The time of Thomas S. Monson....." YOU were held back six thousand years because you were the most talented, most obedient, most skillful, most courageous, most virtuous, most chaste, and most righteous. Are you still.......? REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!...........I thought that was really cool.....Well to answer some ?'s..My area is about 30 min away from the apartment so we walk there everyday cause no jeeps or trics go over there. There are 4 of us in the apartment... Lahat foreigners. One from Utah, one from California, one from New Zealand, and ME:).....My companion is from New Zealand and he has been out 9 or 10 months. Its his first time to be a Senior. We get along for the most part haha. Everyone has there differences but I give up when he wants to argue haha. They laughed at me this morning cause I washed my clothes by hand there clean and smell good, and I laughed at them cause they paid to have there's done and there not even clean just smells good haha. The ward is alright to work with.. nothing like my last area. They were amazing to work with. My companion has been in the area 2 transfers now so he knows the areas but he doesn't know everyone's names so i have to ask haha. Well maybe next pday I will have some pics to share with everyone. Well thats all for today. Hope everyone has a great week and remember S.M.I.L.E. Mahal ko kayo!!!!!:D

Hey Friends and Family
This week has been a good week. Like always haha....Our work has been really little this week cause we had transfer day also we watched all the sessions of conference this last saturday and sunday. It takes a week to get the film or video or how ever they do it here. I really liked the talk from Elder Scott about faith and character. To tell you the truth I was trying to understand what he was saying since it was all in English. I really enjoy President Monson's stories. Every conference he has great stories that apply to his message. I guess thats what happens when you get older you have a ton of cool funny stories. haha I cant wait:).... I also liked President Uchtdorf's joke haha about the rings of trees and how does that have to do with to fly a plane hahaha "Well I'll tell you". To tell you the truth I liked a ton of messages from Conference but I would spend to much time telling you everything I loved when you can just go watch conference for yourself hahaha:) We invited some investigators but only one came cause the stake center was so far. We have to take a taxi to get there. Its funny cause if they hear English they complain there gonna have a nose bleed. Why I dont know hahaha but I told them I had a solution haha I told them I will bring some tissues. They just laughed at me haha and I was just kidding also haha and I got all settled in and the new Elder is somewhat at home hahaha Hes really quite so I try to BRT him (Build a Relationship of Trust) I think hes having a little culture shock. He washed his clothes for the first time and after he was done they were still dirty haha I helped him with a few to show him how to do it. Our house it pretty nice. We have a spiral staircase that goes but to the roof where we put our clothes to dry. They dry so fast cause its so windy up there but the wind feels so good haha. Its hasn't rained in a week or so I think longer actually. Thats weird. I would send a pic of the area and the house but my camara got wet so its doing weird things. Our area is the city of Bicutan in Paranaque. Last week I didn't know how to spell it but I figured it out. Our area is about 30 minutes from our apartment so we walk there everyday. Cause there are no jeeps and tric's that go that way just taxi's but thats MAHAL. We walk past the SM Bicutan (Smoky Mountain) Mall. We can feel the aircon and it feels amazing haha but we dont enter only on Mondays. Yesterday we met a sister who was really interested in our message but the surprising thing was her husband has three wife's. Two live in different places but he has kids with the other two and 3 with the sister we shared with last night. She said it was ok with her that he had 2 other wife's. So we explained the importance of the Family and how it is central the Our Father in Heavens Plan. Something that is found alot it a man and a women have kids together but they aren't married. We call this "living partner". Sometimes that cant afford a marriage so thats when we ask President Howard to pay for the papers than they can have a wedding. They cant be baptized if they have kids and aren't married. This new area need a lot of work. There aren't many progressing investigators. But i just move forward knowing that "no work is wasted". Well until next week. Have a great week everyone and SMILE (:Spiritual Minded Is Life Eternal:D......Its in the BOM.......Mahal ko kayo!!!!!!!

Hello Friends and Family
This week was a new experience haha..... I was transferred to a new area and I have a new companion Elder Kaka from New Zealand. My first foreign companion in except my companion in the MTC which was from New Zealand. He has a accent but he knows English and he's way cool! My new area is in Bicutan Parañque.....Not sure how to spell it. Its the city again haha I asked for Province but its ok where ever im needed. The apartment is pretty nice. We live on the top floor of a 2 story building. Plus we have the very top "The Roof" Its really cool up there. We can see out over all of Bicutan and to the ocean. Its pretty close to my last area in Muntinlupa, Las Piñas... Transfers are rough I dont really like them for 2 reasons. 1st Its hard to pack everything up especially all the stuff I accumulated in Muntinlupa haha. 2nd I didn't like saying Paalam to all my Investigators, Members, and Recent Converts. Its was pretty rough to say bye. It was like I was leaving my home again. We went to the Bishops house Tuesday night to say bye and say thanks for the friendship of the ward. There little daughter is about 4 or 5 years old and I said bye to her and she said ayow ko.... Which means no or I dont want something like that im not sure the direct trans for it. The Bishop asked her if she wanted me to be transferred or maglipat. She said ayow ko ulit and she started to cry. Which made it even worse. I didnt know what to do. I was speechless. I moved from America (my home) to a new place and I felt at home again there in Muntinlupa. But dont get me wrong I was way excited to go to my new area and meet the people, the investigators, the members. It was a good experience. Im excited to be in my new area with my new companion. He's been out about 10 months. My first Senior, my third companion. The language it coming along good. I can understand alot but not everything of course haha. I can speak but not everything of course. My goal is to be somewhat fluent by the end of November or around my birthday. What a great birthday present right?? haha.....In my last area the Sia Family came to church to be confirmed and they are now members. Not all of them. There are 2 of them that will be baptized of Oct 23. So of course I will return for that. In my new area we also have a baptism on Oct 23. The last area Muntinlupa was amazing real fruitful. This new area needs some help so im ready to kick in high gear and tear it up in Bicutan. Yesterday there were 19 missionaries going home and it was sad when they showed the slide show of the last transfer. I worked with a Teaching Elder. These Elders are really good so they dont have areas they just travel the mission and work with missionaries. I worked with Elder Cowan from Utah. He was real nice and we did work in the area. We went home well not yet haha his parents are here and they are traveling the mission to his old areas and visiting Recent converts. He is like Elder Graham from Utah I talked about a few weeks ago. He also went home. :( What a great batch of missionaries!!!!!!!! We have a couple new Elders coming from Provo...3 or 4..... One will be in the apartment with me. Im excited to met him and see what he thinks of the Philip's. We had 200 baptism and 196 confirmed this last month of Sept. Which is awesome. The missing 4 is the Sia family haha ooops... An Elder told me that the Philippines Manila Mission is the highest baptizing mission in the world. I don't know if thats true so maybe someone could research and tell me haha:) This last month my companion and I were able to help 8 people enter the waters of baptism and 2 child of record. Well until next week. Im sure ill have something great to tell you..........its the best mission in the world:) Mahal ko kayo! Ingat kayo din.
