Hey Friends and Family

This week has been a good week. Like always haha....Our work has been really little this week cause we had transfer day also we watched all the sessions of conference this last saturday and sunday. It takes a week to get the film or video or how ever they do it here. I really liked the talk from Elder Scott about faith and character. To tell you the truth I was trying to understand what he was saying since it was all in English. I really enjoy President Monson's stories. Every conference he has great stories that apply to his message. I guess thats what happens when you get older you have a ton of cool funny stories. haha I cant wait:).... I also liked President Uchtdorf's joke haha about the rings of trees and how does that have to do with to fly a plane hahaha "Well I'll tell you". To tell you the truth I liked a ton of messages from Conference but I would spend to much time telling you everything I loved when you can just go watch conference for yourself hahaha:) We invited some investigators but only one came cause the stake center was so far. We have to take a taxi to get there. Its funny cause if they hear English they complain there gonna have a nose bleed. Why I dont know hahaha but I told them I had a solution haha I told them I will bring some tissues. They just laughed at me haha and I was just kidding also haha and I got all settled in and the new Elder is somewhat at home hahaha Hes really quite so I try to BRT him (Build a Relationship of Trust) I think hes having a little culture shock. He washed his clothes for the first time and after he was done they were still dirty haha I helped him with a few to show him how to do it. Our house it pretty nice. We have a spiral staircase that goes but to the roof where we put our clothes to dry. They dry so fast cause its so windy up there but the wind feels so good haha. Its hasn't rained in a week or so I think longer actually. Thats weird. I would send a pic of the area and the house but my camara got wet so its doing weird things. Our area is the city of Bicutan in Paranaque. Last week I didn't know how to spell it but I figured it out. Our area is about 30 minutes from our apartment so we walk there everyday. Cause there are no jeeps and tric's that go that way just taxi's but thats MAHAL. We walk past the SM Bicutan (Smoky Mountain) Mall. We can feel the aircon and it feels amazing haha but we dont enter only on Mondays. Yesterday we met a sister who was really interested in our message but the surprising thing was her husband has three wife's. Two live in different places but he has kids with the other two and 3 with the sister we shared with last night. She said it was ok with her that he had 2 other wife's. So we explained the importance of the Family and how it is central the Our Father in Heavens Plan. Something that is found alot it a man and a women have kids together but they aren't married. We call this "living partner". Sometimes that cant afford a marriage so thats when we ask President Howard to pay for the papers than they can have a wedding. They cant be baptized if they have kids and aren't married. This new area need a lot of work. There aren't many progressing investigators. But i just move forward knowing that "no work is wasted".
