Hello Family and Friends
My week has been really good. We had alot of success this week. We had 7 at church! cant complain but we should've had more there. Ok lang iyan.. 27 lessons with investigators and gave 4 new Bap Dates. We had a ton of meetings this week but we still managed to have some good work. Wed we went to the Temple and had Zone Conference. So we spent a ton of money on fare. We also went to the NSO(National Statistics Office) to work on the marriage of our investigators and we found out that I cant do it here. I has to be done in their Province in Serigao. So they have to contact their family there and have them do it. Its really complicated especially being a foreigner. I dont really know everything that needs to happen and they dont answering my ?'s about that stuff. The Encinas Family are really amazing!!! They came to church and we taught them there and gave them a Bap. Date for Mar 19. They are so excited. Brother Encinas is a mechanic by profession and is going to another country. I forgot where. But to work and he is leaving sometime in March. He said that he wants his family to be baptized before that. He also told us missionaries to make sure that when he's gone that his family is going to church when he's away. The other day at their house we had probably 20+ mangos and we ate most of them that night hahaha. We are still having a hard time with the Sayawan Family. The parents dont want to give permission for there Baptism. Another investigator of ours Brother Macagba. Retired Air Force Sargent. Its hard for him to read the BOM and pamphlets. He uses a magnify glass to read. We are planning to give a Bap. Date this next week and are hoping that his concern will come out if there are any. I know that the Lord is guiding each missionary in there work. Sometimes we dont even know it. Love you all.

Hello everyone
This week has been a good one. I had some good experiences. I was able to work with one of the Elder Lillywhite. He taught me alot as long with the spirit. I learned that missionary work can still be fun and serious. I knew that before but I forgot. We were OYMing, have a good time, and teaching. The spirit has led us to alot of people who are prepared. We have 2 investigators and they have baptismal dates but they need the permission from there parents and there parents are not cool with that. They dont mind that they go to church and to the temple and if we drop by to share but the Baptism is not cool with them. They are catholic and we were talking to the father and he's nice and my companion and I wanted to be really bold but of course we were nervous. We listened to the spirit and were able to set up a appointment with the parents. They are someone we are really trying to focus on and BRT. Praying and Fasting for that family. We are planning to have 9 baptismal dates by next week. which are all for March. We also had a FHE with the Morgans again and that was really good lesson. Elder Morgan always plans great lessons. He shared about Priesthood keys. What are the keys? Who holds them? Who gave them? It was really cool. D&C 27:5-the endish. He shared his testimony that Joseph Smith couldn't just make all of that up and have it be so organized. We have trying to get some of our investigators married and baptized. Im trying to think of some of my cool experiences but I cant remember them at the moment. Well I hope everyone is doing well. Mahal ko kayo lahat.

2-14-2011 -Valentines Day!
Hey
Wow this week has been something new. Well we had transfers and so everything was down. We had 1 at church which was sad! We planned to have at least 10 or 15 there. We went and followed them up why they didn't come. The things that came in the way was just life things. One didn't come home from work and so his family didn't come to church. The other was sleeping cause she had work later that night. We are going to work hard and work on making strong commitments so that our church attendance goes up. We are going to work hard this next week to fill our investigator pool and have members work with us. I was sitting in sacrament and I was think on how we could increase our work and what came in to my mind was just act like I was back when I first got to the area. Not knowing where anyone has gone and especially listen more to the spirit. Cause the people are out there we just have to find them. There is a part of the area where I dont really like to go but I told myself that we were going to go there and listen to the spirit. Im excited for this next week. to see what we can really do with a full week ahead of us. Starts with the attitude! It than leads to the work and everything improves. More investigators. More Success!!! It also apply's in our personal lives. If we have a good attitude than our day goes better. Work, school, life at home. Something I have been planning for a member and there kids are our investigators. Panes Family. They have no electricity in there home. They dont enough money to pay for it. They were recently baptized and they are active in the church but there kids are not really. We are trying our best to BRT with them and teach them. We set a return appointment for Tuesday afternoon. At night all they have for light is three candles and thats not enough at all. So Elder Villasor and I are planning to buy them a rechargeable lamp. Its like a lantern but not gas. So they dont have to spend money for gas but they can use there neighbors to charge it and then it will light the house. I felt so bad the first time I went there. The sister cooks for us once a month with the little amount of money for food they have. Also they dont have Home teachers so we are going to fix that haha. This week hasn't been to bad. We did find some people that were prepared. Another sister who was grumpy and all she had to say about our message about Families was that it is the same as the beliefs in there church. I laughed and wiped out the BOM and she was like whats that A Bible??? But she wasn't really interested. She just said to drop by the house whenever we want and maybe she will let us in or not depending on her "ATTITUDE" she said. I know this church is true and we have a unique message that brings hope to our lives. Knowing that we can be eternal with our families. I know Satan is out there trying to stop us from furthering the work but he will not succeed. No unhallowed hand can stop the work of the Lord from progressing. Minamahal ko to.......Mahal na mahal ko kayo lahat.

Hello Family and Friends
How is everyone doing?? This week has been good. Really fast. He went to the work on the marriage of one of our investigators so that they can be married and baptized on Feb 19. The Cagas Family is doing really well. We also taught the Sayawan Family. We taught the Word of Wisdom and Law of Chastity. They did have a problem with coffee hence the "DID" but they have not drank coffee in 1 week now. We will be giving them a Bap date this week hopefully! Also the Encinas Family. They are the one's who approached on the street and asked us to drop by. Elder Arquiola is a great Elder and Im going to miss him being around. I do have a new companion right now. Elder Villasor. He is my 1st junior but like I told him that there is no difference from the senior to the junior. Lahat tayo pantay pantay or equal. Im excited to be with him and ripe this area apart. Well I know this is short but I will write again monday. Mahal ko kayo lahat.

Napakagandang araw sa inyong lahat
Another day...another week...another transfer......Wow where am I going to start.....? This week has been crazy and pretty expensive on behalf of my support. We had another Temple Tour and we had the Encinas Family go. It was really good to do that again. The told us last night that when they got home how different the feeling was there at the Temple than outside in the world. Also last night they told us that they want to be baptized. So there are 4 that can be baptized from that family plus the brothers sister who who could be potential with her kids. Even thou our week was kinda messed up we still managed to accomplish alot this week. I LOVE this area. I think before the transfer is over we will be able to get 6 new baptismal dates. The Sayawan family is progressing and there desire is really strong. We hope that the kids will set the example for the parents. We had a FHE last monday with the Morgans and that was really awesome. Elder Morgan at the end shared some experience's and some thoughts. One of those's is the plan of us before we came. There was only one plan that Our Heavenly Father had for us. That is that Jesus would be the Savior. Satan did rebel and took 1/3 of our brothers and sisters with him. Well Transfer Day is near... Feb 9 my companion will be transferred and I will be getting a new companion. My companion will be on a special assignment to help an american Elder speak Tagalog. There is a possibility that I might be made district leader. So im praying for strength with that one. But I will let you know what happens. This area Builhan is so awesome. The area is surrounded by a ilat or small river. We went tracting on the other side and we found this house and in the yard was pineapple plants and Mango trees and all sorts of fruit. he told us to come back and he will give us some when there ready. I've never seen a pineapple plant before so it was pretty cool. I will have to take a pic of that. And maybe if im brave enough a pic of me on a carabao. Thats a big cow like thing here. Well there are some pics. Not the best but soon to come. Mahal ko kayo.
