Hello to all

This week has been great. We have had some good times and some bad times. First the good, we had 6 baptisms and that went really well. The spirit was strong. The bad part about this week was the Sia Family was baptized but they didn't come to sacrament on Sunday the be confirmed. I've never heard of this happening. I don't know if it happens quite a bit and I haven't heard about that happening yet. I was pretty bumbed Sunday when They didn't come. We don't know why they didn't. They have come to church every week before that. The other two Ivhan Nicolas and Micah Indong came and they were confirmed a member. Next week Ivhan will be passing the sacrament and he's excited to do that. Other than the Sia not coming to sacrament the week went really well. We visited the Oñate family a investigator of ours. My first companion was Elder Oñate.....and taught them L3. They are active in a different church and when we taught this to them we asked them if they we baptized by water and they said yes and than we asked them if they received the Holy Ghost or baptized by fire and they said no. We explained it to them and shared some scriptures from the Bible and Gilbert Sr. Oñate the tatay said I didn't know we were suppose to receive the Holy Ghost. The spirit was really strong and I think he realised there is something different about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We invited them to church and at first they said no, they had to go to there church but we had 2 members with us. The sister bore testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel and she talked to the mother and after the lesson we asked again and they said they would next week. We also invited them to the Fireside (this fireside we had last night and it was all the missionaries in the Manila Mission except Palawan so about 150 missionaries and there investigators and all the missionaries sang four songs and others shared there talents.) and they said yes. I believe we are starting to gain there trust. This week I realised that I really enjoy OYMing (Open Your Mouth) and finding. I get to practice my tagalog and meet new people and share the Gospel of course. At first it was alright but now I love it haha. There is nothing better than good old hard missionary work. Transfer day is Oct 6 and the zone leaders said to me are you ready to be transferred I don't know what is going to happen haha:( my kasama is ready to train but there are not very many missionaries coming in. I have some pictures I'll try to send of us coming from the fireside on a bus that's full and me and another elder are the only amerikanos hahahaha. Thanks for the love and support from America haha........Mahal ko kayo!
