This week has been really neat for me. Last Saturday our President scheduled a temple tour for every zone in the Manila Mission which they have never had a temple tour before. My companion and I were able to take 6 investigators to the temple and show them the importance and explain some for the things we do inside. Sister Joanne and Sister Suzette went and they will be baptized this coming Saturday. We are working and gaining the trust of Joanne's tatay. We met Nanay Suzette's asawa yesterday and he is really nice. He said he is fine with us teaching her. This coming Saturday we will have 2 investigators and 2 child of record baptisms. We have found all of these through tracking and visiting members. Saturday the 25th we will have 6 baptisms if everything falls together. Last week I talked about the Sia Family and that they wanted to be baptized. We took 2 of them to the temple and we teach 4 members of the family. The father is a inactive member and we are starting to gain his trust. He asked us the other day for a Book of Mormon. At first he wasn't to sure about us coming to share a message but I think he is ok now. We received a report from the Assistants of the President and they said that over 200 investigators visited the temple last Saturday. The past month of August in the Manila Mission there was 218 baptisms. A new high for the mission. This last Sunday we had 8 investigators go to church and all of them will be baptized this month. Anyways a couple weeks ago we were teaching a lesson to a brother and sister and at the end of the lesson I was looking around the room and I say this thing on the wall this thing happened to be a spider haha.I couldn't tell if it was fake or not cause it was so big and it wasn't moving. At the very end when we were leaving I asked them if it was really and they said oh that yeah and i couldn't believe it. It was the size of my hand and it was hairy and the legs were the size of a pen haha. I have been here three months and have never seen any spider that big. I wanted to hurry and get out. Also there are rats here and they are huge. Sometimes the length of my forearm and fat haha. Well that's all the cool things I have to share about my week until next week ingat po.
